What Fresh Hell Will Donald Unleash This Week?

As we start one of the final weeks of the 2016 election, let me take a moment to say that I'm just as disgusted and disturbed as you are about all that we are currently witnessing. Keeping up with the steady stream of awfulness on Facebook and Twitter feels like a full time job at this point. And yet, it's extremely important that we all keep making it clear to our friends, family and neighbors from now until the final election day that Donald Trump is completely, totally, 100% unacceptable. So please keep sharing!

The bad news is that it's probably going to get worse.

But the good news is we're very close to the finish line... even though it may not feel like it. So hang in there!

I have a bad feeling that this week is going to be more wretched and ridiculous than ever, so get ready. Within the last 24 hours alone, Trump slammed Paul Ryan (again) for no apparent reason, said SNL was in on the election "rigging" and should be canceled, and blamed Hillary's "animals" for the fire in the North Carolina GOP campaign office. Ironically, it appears that Donald is really the one who wants to burn it all down. And with everything getting genuinely unhinged, it feels like literally anything could happen. An even more appalling Trump recording emerging? Pence finally bolting? Donald taking a swing at Hillary in the final debate? I just don't know.

Here at, I'm going to do my best to keep focusing on the positive: Polls, analysis, full speeches and other campaign videos, get-out-the-vote activism and more. In addition to being a much-needed oasis in dark times, it also happens to be the best strategy for my own personal sanity. Plus, there's only so much that one person can write in a day so I might as well leave the Trump muckraking to the likes of David Fahrenthold and Kurt Eichenwald. It works out!

To all the readers who've joined me on this 21 month (and counting) journey, thank you! We're almost keep your eyes on the prize, folks. As long as we have her back, Hillary's got this and we're in for one hell of a party on the evening of November 8th.
