Democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Kaine spoke on a chilly Thursday morning at the University of Nevada Reno.Watch the full speech above.
Kaine gave a 45-minute speech to the crowd that swelled to about 400, attacking Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on multiple fronts, trying to show a stark contrast between Trump and Clinton on issues like climate change, free higher education, equal pay and paid leave.
Kaine also referenced the troubled Trump University, which brought several lawsuits upon Trump himself for fraud. He echoed the same sentiments as U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., on the Senate floor last week, calling it a scam.
“People who trust Trump tend to get hurt by Trump,” Kaine said.
