General Election Debate Season Begins!

Here we go, folks! It's been almost five months since the last debate or town hall (Hillary vs Bernie in New York). Have you been missing these? I know I sure have!

This is a forum that acts as a pre-debate, which may work to Clinton's advantage since she won't have to worry about interruptions and bullying tactics from her blowhard opponent. Also, the topics will be right up her alley.
During this one-hour forum, both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will be on stage back-to-back taking questions on national security, military affairs and veterans issues from NBC News and an audience comprised mainly of military veterans and active service members.
Hillary goes on first at 8pm ET/7pm CT, at which time Hillary HQ will live tweet the entire time. So please join us over at Twitter to get in on the fun. And by the way, no account is required...just go to and keep refreshing the page.

There is an extremely good chance that Hillary will totally shine, and an equally good chance that Donald will say multiple embarrassing things that further disqualify him as Commander-in-Chief. The only thing in his favor is that the media will grade them on a curve. In other words, the bar will be ten feet high for Clinton and ten feet below the ground for Trump. Luckily, he still probably won't make it over.

Watch it on your local NBC or MSNBC station, or the live stream here, and come back later tonight for the recap.
