Democratic Vice Presidential hopeful Tim Kaine was in Lakewood Tuesday as he tries to court members of the business community.
Kaine toured Primus Aerospace and conducted a round table with local small business leaders...
"It is great to be back in Lakewood," Kaine said before discussing how he used to vacation in Lakewood to visit family when he was a kid.
The purpose of the trip was to help launch the Clinton-Kaine small business plan aimed at giving small business owners access to more capital. The plan includes cutting red tape, making filing taxes easier, as well as making it simpler to get business licenses.
"The American economy isn't best measured by what's going on on Wall Street, it's best measured by what's happening with small businesses," Kaine said.
