Britain's vote to leave the European Union is a shocking development that will reverberate around the world for years to come, and we are already feeling waves of uncertainty across the Atlantic. The effects of this vote will take years to sort out, but one side effect cannot be denied:
It has now become even more obvious that Hillary Clinton is the only choice to be the next President of the United States...and Donald Trump is utterly, dramatically and laughably unqualified for the job.
First, here is Clinton's statement:
"Calm, steady and experienced" indeed, with a key focus of protecting working families in America. It's surely just the beginning of her presidential response.
Donald apparently didn't realize that Scotland voted in huge numbers to remain in the EU and may well break from the UK for good after today. However, this was just the warm up for a truly astonishing press conference...even by his standards.Just arrived in Scotland. Place is going wild over the vote. They took their country back, just like we will take America back. No games!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 24, 2016
"You'll be amazed how similar" renovating a golf course is to governing America, Trump said. Both "need to be fixed" https://t.co/pNMOVv8krI— Rebecca Berg (@rebeccagberg) June 24, 2016
Trump, when asked about British markets: "When the pound goes down, more people are coming to Turnberry, frankly" https://t.co/fO0a8HT57O— Bradd Jaffy (@BraddJaffy) June 24, 2016
Donald Trump was never qualified to be President of the United States. But is this the day that he has finally and officially disqualified himself from the presidency in the eyes of the American people at large? I have to wonder...and hope.Watch the moment LBC reporter @ConnorGillies asked #DonaldTrump if he would back #BorisJohnson as next PM. #EUref pic.twitter.com/C9jJuw5p5k— LBC (@LBC) June 24, 2016
Whatever the case, you know what to do from now until November 8th...
