  1. Bernie knows Clinton's won. This is all about trying to extract concessions.

  2. He's addicted to the adulation of screaming crowds. The streaming speeches are like methadone treatment.

  3. here's what I think: he needs to keep fund-raising, they met for two hours but she didn't agree to take her donations and give them to Sanders to pay off his debt. And his die-hards wouldn't go with her anyway, and if he agreed to endorse her, he'd do it in a way that let his donors know he didn't mean it, and then he'd sneak in some more smears right up to the general election, about how much better he would have been and how he still doesn't trust her. He's a real snake, our bernie. And he must have read the op ed about how his ideas are out of date and not what the smart progressive think tanks are recommending. Whenever someone accuses someone else of some 'moral' failure, you can be sure at the least it's his biggest temptation. When he started his campaign he expected to make family money off it, he didn't expect to end up in a big hole. And there are laws governing how he can pay it off, it can't just be from one of his wealthy banker friends or from foreign political parties, not that they would. I bet he picked some bad wall street investments too and held on too long. He bet that the donations would keep coming in long enough to pay back his illegal donations and his fines, and they didn't. notice he didn't release his number for last month. He hasn't released his candidate financial disclosure form, he didn't do the one he needs for the Senate, he won't release his tax returns, he's in a pickle.

And his endorser who switched to Hillary did it like that too, he lectures her that Sander's people won't vote for her unless ...

But Sanders can get one of his rich friends to reimburse him the 300K for the family and friends trip to Rome, it isn't a campaign expense so there are no rules about paying for that.

    1. Yes, and if you go to Bernie's site it's still mostly focused on fundraising. Dude, there are no more contests! It's basically a GoFundMe for Tad Devine and Jeff Weaver at this point.
