Hillary Clinton, Cory Booker and Jon Bon Jovi Rally in New Jersey (6/1/16)

Amy Newman/
Hillary Clinton, seeking to clinch the Democratic nomination for president in New Jersey’s primary next week, attacked presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump on Wednesday as “a fraud” who has “disqualified himself completely” from holding the nation’s highest office, likely offering a glimpse into the next five months of the 2016 White House race.

During a rally at Rutgers University’s Newark campus, where she was joined by U.S. Sen. Cory Booker and musician Jon Bon Jovi, Clinton wasted no time focusing on the man she intends to battle in the general election. In the first minutes of her speech, Clinton said Trump’s public statements and policy positions – such as suggesting more countries should have nuclear weapons and proposing to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the United States – are “not just divisive,” but “dangerous.”
Hillary Clinton is hammering Donald Trump's namesake set of training programs, calling the school "more evidence that Donald Trump himself is a fraud."

"He is trying to scam America the way he scammed all those people at Trump University," the likely Democratic presidential nominee said at an event Wednesday in Newark, New Jersey.

The attacks Clinton unleashed against Trump are among her sharpest of the campaign -- reflecting a belief that Trump University is a major vulnerability for the presumptive GOP nominee and that Trump is likely to be goaded into a response that would keep the issue alive.

Clinton pointed to documents unsealed by a judge Tuesday in a lawsuit over Trump University.

"His own employees testified that Trump U -- you can't make this up -- that Trump U was a fraudulent scheme where Donald Trump enriched himself at the expense of hard working people," Clinton said.

"Trump and his employees took advantage of vulnerable Americans encouraging them to max out their credit cards, empty their retirement savings, destroy their financial futures, all while making promises they knew were false from the beginning," she said. "This is just more evidence that Donald Trump himself is a fraud. He is trying to scam America the way he scammed all those people at Trump University."
This is both one of the most fun and most hard-hitting Clinton rallies that I've seen in this campaign. The assist from Jon Bon Jovi is great, of course...but how about Senator Cory Booker! Whether or not he's chosen as the running mate, he's going to be an amazing asset all year. The boisterous energy exuding from that guy is just staggering.

Also, this rally is particularly newsworthy because it sounds like Hillary has learned a little something from Elizabeth Warren when it comes to dealing with Donald Trump. #HillYes to that!

Watch the full event below. After some introductions, Bon Jovi begins at the 14-min mark, Booker at the 17-min mark, and Clinton at the 30-min mark:

  1. Hello.....Times are tough these days, and as far as home mortgages go they promise to get a bit tougher in the near future. Current studies say that upwards of 60 percent of all homes may be "underwater" (their owners will owe more than the home is worth) by the year 2011. Much of this looming crisis can be laid at the feet of the once-loved adjustable-rate mortgage (ARM) that allowed buyers to purchase a lot of home for a relatively small amount of up-front money and house payment.See more-houses for sale newark
