What exactly was so historic about Bernie Sanders' run for the presidency? He got fewer total votes than Secretary Clinton did in her run in 2008 against then Senator Obama, almost 6,000,000 less. I know what was historic. An old white guy lost to a woman! An amazing woman
It isn't historic that his ego has to be catered to either, lest the shame of losing to a girl do him in. and it isn't the first time he challenged a progressive woman for a highest office, that time it was the incumbent Vermont governor, claiming she wasn't qualified and only ahead of him because of her gender. There was a group called 'women for bernie' then too. And he didn't beat her either.
