No More Mr. Nice Guy: It's Time to Crush the Sanders Campaign

Obviously I'm a big supporter of Hillary Clinton, but I've tried...I've really tried...to be as nice as I could about the whole Bernie Sanders thing up to now. You know, a spirited debate within the Democratic Party and all that good stuff. But as of yesterday, that era is over and I'm officially pissed off.

So it's no more Mr. Nice Guy around here unless Sanders and his campaign team get their act together and stop being so awful.

The first jaw-dropping offense yesterday was when Bernie accused Hillary of playing the race card:
“You know Hillary Clinton now is trying to embrace the president as closely — as she possibly can. Everything the president does is wonderful. She loves the president, he loves her and all that stuff,” the Vermont senator said in an interview with BET. “And we know what that’s about. That’s trying to win support from the African-American community where the president is enormously popular."
So, ignore the fact that Hillary and Barack are great friends, that she campaigned her heart out for him in 2008, then served as his Secretary of State, and that she generally fully supports Democrats across the board anyway. Nope...she's just sticking up for President Obama to win black votes.

Ooo-kay...

Honestly, I think this is a bigger gaff than many realize. In fact, I believe that Sanders has just opened the door for an early endorsement of Clinton by the president himself. Because really what Bernie's saying is that he doesn't think the president actually deserves such praise...it's all about pandering for black votes. How horribly cynical and tone-deaf can he be?

But it didn't stop there yesterday, because Bernie went on to attack another Democratic president!
"Bill Clinton was the president who led the effort to deregulate Wall Street, was the president who fought for the disastrous NAFTA trade agreement and was the president who pushed this so-called welfare reform, which was absolutely disastrous for low-income people in general and the African-American community in particular."
Oh, but he wasn't done yet. Not even close.

Remember when official Sanders campaign surrogate Killer Mike said earlier this week that "a uterus doesn't qualify you to be president of the United States"? Well, given the chance to apologize...Bernie didn't. In fact, amazingly, he chose to dig himself even further into the hole.
"What Mike said essentially is that ... people should not be voting for candidates based on their gender, but based on what they believe. I think that makes sense," said Sanders, who has mounted an unexpectedly strong challenge against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination.
"I don't go around, no one has ever heard me say, 'Hey guys, let's stand together, vote for a man.' I would never do that, never have."
Dude, no one has ever even heard Hillary say such a thing! And besides, men have been in charge of everything for almost all of human history, so saying that would be completely ridiculous.

What the hell, dude? Who is advising this guy? Is anyone advising this guy? Doesn't sound like it.

And then the Nevada town hall aired last night, and there were at least two clearly awful moments that come to mind:

I'm not even going to repeat what Bernie's brother Larry said about Bill Clinton because it's astonishingly offensive.

That's right, we've entered the Larry Sanders phase of 2016. Oh, brother.

If all this wasn't bad enough, it sure looks like the Sanders campaign is going to try to cheat their way to victory in Nevada.

There's actually a very simple reason why Bernie and his campaign are losing their shit right now: the national wave of support following their big win in New Hampshire just didn't materialize.
Yes, no matter what happens in Nevada...Bernie Sanders' 2016 campaign is about to be crushed.

And at this point, it can't happen soon enough.

  1. I feel the same way. I no longer respect Sanders, and I used to for a very long time. Just a warning for Sanders supporters out there: Politicians (and, yes, Bernie's a politician) who set themselves up as holier-than-thou are begging to be toppled. And if it's not Hillary who does it, it will be Karl Rove and the GOP, who are salivating at running against him in November.

    1. After it becomes clear that he won't get the nomination (which will be soon) there's time for Sanders to shut down the destruction, unite the party, give a hell of a speech at the convention, secure a lucrative book deal, and be a folk hero.

Or ruin everything he's fought for his whole life.

      The choice is his.

    3. Gosh - Clinton was being the nice guy? And Hillary supporters the victims of their own kindness, I suppose.

1.) Bill Clinton IS responsible for moving the democratic party right. He DID push to repeal Glass-Steagal, and DID push through NAFTA, which has cost millions upon millions of decent middle class jobs, not to mention destroying farmers in Mexico. In addition to this, both he and Hillary championed 3 strikes / Zero Tolerance / Tough on Crime agendas, which ended up with the most catastrophic incarceration rate in the world.

Being that Sanders is campaigning against this kind of corruption, is he supposed to shut his trap because it is fellow right-wing dems supporting this crap? Really? Why? Are we supposed to learn to goose-step like the Republicans?

      Shame on all of you.

  5. I hope you're right and we do crush Bernie. I've been pissed at him since he told people to blame all their problems on Wall Street, and by the way ... (connect the dots) ... Hillary has received a lot of money as a speaker at Wall Street events. Basically - rather than Republicans (the Dem party's standard enemy,) Bernie made Hillary the ENEMY!

    1. I'm tired of his constant innuendo about her lack of integrity. It's cheap.

    2. Scan, are you REALLY OK with her receiving 25 MILLION from the Saudis????? Do you believe the Saudis donated 25 MILLION to the Clinton foundation because of their fine reputations for being a humanistic society concerned with human rights? Or - golly, do you think... for a second, that just maybe they were trying to buy some influence?

She DOES lack integrity, and her taking this sort of cash from foreign dictators, banks she has assisted in her time as SOS, and the increase in arms sales to nations whom have previously funded her foundation upsets me.

You are all so angry at Sanders supporters, but you folks never address this stuff.

By the way - you guys are pretty near to give the election to Trump; she is under FBI Investigation, not just for sloppy emails, but for influence peddling and corruption charges as well. While I never trust anything a Republican has to say re Clinton, if the FBI is investigating her - there is at least smoke.

BEST CASE scenario; she is indicted, and drops out of the race, leaving Sanders standing. Worst case, she enters office and immediately we see an impeachment hearing.

And if you don't think that will be the very first thing on the Republican agenda, you're smoking something great!

  7. I will never vote for this marxist SOB. He is out for nothing less than to replace Democratic values with those of his weird Socialism. If the Democratic Party has the stupidity to nominate him I will resign my lifelong party membership (40 years now) re-register as an Independent, and abstain from voting. I hate Sanders to that extent. Either way I will be going overseas in exile.

    1. Oh for goodness sake. How old are you?

Until Clinton 1, America's shared values had to do with labor protections, regulated business, good schools, affordable health and education -

What weird socialism are you talking about? Sanders is doing nothing except sounding like a pre-corporate / pre-Reagan democrat.

Criticize him all you like, but please try talking about something you actually KNOW something about?

  8. Hillary offers nothing more than establishment politics, no fresh ideas, no innovation only more of her not being forthcoming with the American people. Please don't pee in my ear and tell me it's raining. Honestly, don't listen to whats coming out of her mouth, she's just saying what you want/need to hear. The woman has a history, look at it and form your own opinion. Do a little research, look at her record, compare it with what she's saying. A half truth is still a whole lie. I have been a lifelong Independent who has always weighed the candidate by their record, their own history. I cast my vote for the individual, that I believe, has the ability, character & integrity to do what is best for the majority of our citizens. I'm not sorry to say in this case there is a more qualified candidate seeking the Democratic nomination. That person is Bernie Sanders. I understand some folks like that fact that Hillary is status quo, there is no apprehension in not changing. However, the biggest obstacle one must overcome in order to change is located between their own ears. There is a certain comfort a person derives from not changing or keeping things the same. That's what Hillary offers to the American people, more of the same. Deception, double standards and flip-flopping on a host of issues. Don't be afraid of change, embrace it. Stand up for America and stand up for Bernie Sanders.

    1. Sanders is only telling you what you want to hear, not the truth as to what he can actually do, which is nothing. Her record of accomplishments, next to the non-existent record of Sanders is why people support her. Sanders isn't capable, experienced or qualified to be President and definitely NOT Commander-in-Chief.

    2. If he should accidently get elected, we won't have to worry about our Troops fighting a War in another Country, because they will be to busy fighting the War our enemies and the terrorists will bring to the USA. She has told NO half truths about her record, it is all truthful, if you are smart enough to read and understand it. I can see that you have nothing between your own ears and that is why you can't change and for that I feel sorry for you and send you my Sympathy. Now if anyone wants someone that is running a campaign that is not full of deception, double standards and flip -flopping on a host of issues then they will Stand up for America, the American people by standing up for Hillary Clinton. If you prefer a candidate that has STOLE Campaign Data and LIED about using it then stand with Sanders. Before you say I don't know what I am talking about, let me tell you that I do. From the day he announced he was running he never contacted me, until 2 days after the Data breach. He couldn't because he didn't have my information. No one has the contact information that he is contacting me with, except Hillary's campaign, not my husband, not my children and not a single other person. He is contacting me 6/7 times a day and sometimes more than that. Like the DNC contacted them and told them to take the Video with the lies in it down and they declined, I have done the same thing. I have a folder with every email they have sent me and every reply I made requesting them to STOP contacting me and remove the information they have from all their contact lists. I have contacted their HQ's by phone and requested the same thing and they are ignoring my requests. I have a recording of all the phone calls they made to me and the ones that I made to their HQ's asking them to not contact me. I will be turning this over to my Attorney after the Primary's and suing him for harassment.

    3. If you want to stand with a candidate that sent out deceptive flyers, put out deceptive videos leading voters to believe they had endorsements that belonged to Hillary, then by all means stand with Sanders. If you want to stand with a candidate that has more double standards than even the Republicans that are running, that states he isn't running a negative campaign, never has, but in fact started running one within a week of his announcement, then by all means stand with Sanders. If you want to stand with a candidate that says he has never flip flopped, changed his mind, or evolved, been there from day one, which is a lie of the first order, then by all means stand with Sanders. If you want to stand with a candidate that has committed voter FRAUD in Iowa (his campaign knew it and that is why they didn't push for an investigation) by busing people in to Caucus for him, then went to NH and committed voter FRAUD again (the Attorney General has several videos of his campaign doing it and there is a big investigation and the AG said it would eventually be changed to reflect the real win and loss numbers), then are planning on trying to repeat the FRAUD in Nevada, which all the proof has been received by the DNC, the Precinct Captains and Law enforcement has been notified to watch the Sanders same day registration's. They have all the information about the Bus's coming from California to Caucus for him, all the information about the phone calls his campaign made to the College Republicans to come and register as Democrats to Caucus for him and about the campaign paying voters to Caucus for him, then you go right ahead and stand by Sanders. I Pray that they get caught big time and that their campaign is suspended and he is kicked off the Democratic Ballot therefore ending his bid for OUR nomination and the Presidency. If you think this is all a LIE then ask yourself why the DNC sent a Memo to the campaign's stating that anyone doing this, will be committing a FELONY and will be PROSECUTED to the fullest extent of the Law! Yep, you go right ahead and STAND with the DIRTIST (Politician)candidate on both sides and let your vote get flushed down the toilet, because that is what a vote for Sanders will be!! Hillary is an ANGEL compared to Sanders and his DIRTY tactic's and he isn't a registered Democrat, regardless of what he calls his self and really has NO business on our ticket. He is what he has always been an Independent, Socialists and a card carrying Libterian/Communists!

  9. I'm disgusted by Sanders, his campaign, and the scorched-earth tactics they're using. Sanders is actively, by design, tearing down the Democratic party. Like others, I once really respected him, but through this campaign his true nature has been revealed to me: He's carefully crafted a lovable public persona, but he's actually a cowardly, petulant, hypocritical carpetbagger. If he wins primary I'll still vote for him, but I'll hold my nose.

    1. If you are willing to vote for him then you are better than at least several million of us. We will vote for the down ticket Democrats to help try and take back the Senate and gain House seats. As for the President and VP we will not vote or write in Hillary, because Sanders would be as bad, if not worse than Trump, Cruz, and possibly Rubio. Bush and Kasich would be bad, but NOT nearly as bad as the other 3 Republicans and they would be better than Sanders, since they do have an idea of what governing is all about and Sanders doesn't have a clue about!!

  10. Curious, I snorted some of the "Bernie Sanders Vermont Socialist Style Pixie Dust" all the Bernie-buddies have been raving about. Almost immediately, I experienced delusions of grandeur and an unwarranted sense of self importance, followed by an irrational hatred for/fear of strong, accomplished, driven women. The next thing I know I'm hallucinating that I'm going back in time, like in that movie "Altered States"! Then, I'm looking down upon a disheveled young Marxist staring at a vagina, wondering... no, instinctively knowing... that vagina is fantasizing about being raped by three men! Holy crap, bad trip man! I strongly urge avoidance of this drug and all who have allowed themselves to become addicted to it! :-)
