2016 Keeps Goin' Off the Rails on a Crazy Train

What can I say? Anything that brings us closer to a Trump/Palin ticket this year...I support.
Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state’s caucuses.
“I’m proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for president,” Ms. Palin said in a statement provided by his campaign.
Her support is the highest-profile backing for a Republican contender so far.
“I am greatly honored to receive Sarah’s endorsement,” Mr. Trump said in a statement trumpeting Mrs. Palin’s decision. “She is a friend, and a high-quality person whom I have great respect for. I am proud to have her support.”
Okay, I'll admit that a double dose of Sarah Palin as GOP running mate is a dream that's probably too good to be true.

However, this and the Canadian birther thing could help Trump edge out Cruz in Iowa. From there, he would probably win New Hampshire easily and possibly lock up his nomination even faster than Clinton locks up hers.

Watch out...because it just might happen.

UPDATE: Having just watched Sarah Palin's endorsement speech, I have no idea if this is actually positive for him or not. Yes, I am now hedging completely. I have no idea what's going on anymore after being subjected to that.

  1. How about Ted Nugent for Secretary of State? He's very diplomatic and would fit right in with Donald and Sarah.
