Chair Chat w/ Hillary Clinton

What a breath of fresh air this is!
Hillary Clinton sat down for an interview with South Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Jaime Harrison in a slightly less formal seat than her regular venues: a rocking chair.
Harrison’s “Chair Chats” series is meant to be a more personal discussion than the average presidential interview, acknowledging that politicians are people, too. It accordingly kicked off with plenty of talk about Clinton’s granddaughter, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky, and how much fun the former Secretary of State is having as a grandmother. As for who’s the better diaper changer, Hillary or Bill, she said, “We both were out of practice.”
Discussing topics ranging from the Black Lives Matter movement to the Osama bin Laden raid to her favorite TV shows, this is a pure delight that puts Hillary's warmth, humor and policy expertise on full unfiltered display.

It's a true antidote to the pervading negativity of the mainstream media... and we could definitely use a lot more of this sort of thing.

  1. Sanders is 8 points short of Hillary's polling numbers in New Hampshire. It worries me. I'd like to see Hillary win this thing. Can anyone tell me why Hillary seems detached from this situation?

    1. How is she detached? She's campaigning and fundraising constantly. She gave two great speeches back to back in S. Florida on Friday.

  2. If I may, I'd also like to say, that apparently, Hillary has lost some strength among women in late polls.
This can only be, because Hillary herself is not fully involved in her own campaign. I still worry constantly, about the problem our candidate has with media. Lawrence O'Donnell is clearly out to destroy Hillary's chances, and everything, I mean everything he says about her is insulting and demeaning to Hillary. He is joined by another Hillary-hater, at least as bad as O'Donnell, Chris Hayes, who, as far as Hillary is concerned, has to be heard to be believed, so hateful is his attitude against her. Please, is there nothing we can do about this media treachery?

    1. Take a deep breath, John! NH is going to be a battle...hell, the whole thing will be a battle. But she's leading Sanders by 30-50 pts in every single nat'l poll and her numbers are still more favorable than anyone else's. And her campaign is run by the best people in the biz. Don't fall for the "Hillary collapsing" media hype. It will give you high blood pressure.
