Clinton is Still Crushing Walker in Wisconsin (Marquette Poll)

Wisconsin governor Scott Walker might still (barely, maybe) be leading the Republican field, but the voters of his home state know him better and are finally getting tired of his shenanigans.

Also, they are absolutely ready for Hillary to kick his butt.

A new Marquette Law School Poll finds Gov. Scott Walker’s job approval rating has fallen to 41 percent, with 56 percent of registered voters in Wisconsin saying they disapprove of how he is handling his job as governor. In the previous poll, in October 2014, Walker’s approval among registered voters was 49 percent, with 47 percent disapproving.
To look ahead to a possible 2016 presidential matchup, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leads Walker in Wisconsin, 52 percent to 40 percent.
These results are in line with other recent polling of the state.

Again we must ask...if Walker can't even come close to winning his much-coveted home state, why should anyone expect his message to resonate in Ohio, Florida, and Virginia? Republican primary voters will need to ask themselves that...but if they do settle on him (and in this lame GOP field, it will mean settling for less), Democrats should welcome such a matchup with open arms.
